I enclose copy of a letter which I wrote to Mr. Royce a few days ago with reference to the free-wheel system of changing gear, and also copy of a letter which I have received from Mr. Claremont.

I should think it would be as well for the Technical Committee to take the opportunity of examining this arrangement in order that they may prepare a report on it.
