- 3 - E.1/HP.9.7.32. to meet the demands on the battery for starting, ignition and Summer lighting. We, therefore, suggest using switchbox D.Sch. 554 in conjunction with the improved 20/25 dynamo as well as for the P.II dynamo proposal. It is, of course, recognised that no hand controlled scheme will avoid overcharging or undercharging under the wide range of conditions of operation which prevail, particularly as there is no easy way of ascertaining the state of charge of the battery. We are, therefore, looking forward to vibrator control as an eventual solution of the difficulty, and we should like to equip a number of cars with this system either with bought out regulators or some of our own production. In the meantime we submit the proposals outlined, and show on blueprint LeC.3144 the various curves of output compared on a common basis. E.{Mr Elliott - Chief Engineer} | ||
