I suggest that if an 8 cyl is brought over from the States it should be a model in all respects to aim at for the 20/25 - in the same way that the '6 cyl cadillac' is for the Phantom. The Texduplane 8 is only an engine and the virtue of this is masked by many defects in the chassis. Now the best 8 cyl in the 30-40 H.P. Class is the Packard at about 2500$, it is smoother than the Lincoln 12 for 1934 and as smooth as the Cadillac 12 but it has conventional front suspension. In spite of this it rides very well indeed but generally speaking it is not a new design of unit - The Coachwork is a good example of quality pressed steel coachwork.
