Origin. To reduce steering shocks.
Experimental Test Report.
1500 lbs. side steering tube springs were run with the lightened axle in France 10,000 miles. It is therefore proposed to standardise these springs with this axle.
Road Test Report.
These springs effect a very pronounced reduction in road shocks and yet give a selective steering with the new axle.
A Scrap and replace at all costs, including Chassis already delivered to Customers.
B Scrap and replace on Chassis in Works.
C Scrap present stock and replace on all Chassis not yet handed to test.
D Use existing stock Alteration effective on future Chassis.
