1204 Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}/Wst. from Rm.{William Robotham - Chief Engineer} Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}10/R.9.12.36. P.III STARTER MOTOR RINGS. During the discussion with Sg.{Arthur F. Sidgreaves - MD} the other day, the question of P.III Starter Rings came up, and we told Sg.{Arthur F. Sidgreaves - MD} that in the case of Pottinger the trouble had nothing to do with the ring, but was due to the armature fouling the pole pieces. Sg.{Arthur F. Sidgreaves - MD}, however, was anxious to know whether any cases of damaged P.III starter rings had occurred. Will you please let us have this information. Also, is it possible to turn the ring round should it be worn in one place ? Rm.{William Robotham - Chief Engineer} | ||
