6021. Battery To Roy {Sir Henry Royce} /MS. c. to RC {R. Childs} /CAP. Rm {William Robotham - Chief Engineer} /RC. {R. Childs} 9/JH.1.9.38. We are anxious to obtain particulars of "Sangamo" or Ferranti ampere - hour meters fitted with automatic switches. In particular, we would like to have the price, and details, of any instruments they may have, which are capable of measuring quantities of electricity up to 65 to 70 ampere hours, at a current of from 5 to 10 amperes. These meters must have working in conjunction with them, automatic switches. This type of instrument is required for automatically supplying a definite charge input to experimental batteries.
