WST r6153. S/W. Wst. re- Car Radio Sets. Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Wst.1/MA28.5.35. Cx{Major Len W. Cox - Advertising Manager}22/KW31.5.35. I have spoken to Sg.{Arthur F. Sidgreaves - MD}again about this, and he is in the circumstances quite agreeable to trying the Ekco set on his car. Would you therefore please let me know whether you can arrange for this changeover, including presumably the controls on the instrument board, to be effected in London. In Sg{Arthur F. Sidgreaves - MD}'s car the controls are inside the lid{A. J. Lidsey} of the cubby-hole on the left-hand side of the instrument board. No doubt you will have to change these for the controls belonging to the Ekco set, and possibly you will need to see the car before you can give a definite answer as to whether the changeover could be easily effected and how long it would take. Sg{Arthur F. Sidgreaves - MD} is very anxious to know that in doing this the Philco set on his car will not be scrap. We ought therefore to find a definite means of using the Philco set before deciding to take it off. Now that you know Sg{Arthur F. Sidgreaves - MD}'s wishes in this matter perhaps you would consider it, and let me hear further from you as to the method of procedure. Cx.{Major Len W. Cox - Advertising Manager} -LWB | ||
