Messrs. Rolls Royce, Ltd.,
D E R B Y.

Dear Sirs,

For Attention of Mr. Rowbotham.

This confirms the very courteous reception you gave Messrs. Pratt and Manley and the writer today in connection with our discussion on the GIRLING BRAKES.

We are to send on to you as quickly as possible one 12 " Backing Plate complete with Expander, Adjuster and Shoes, so that you may get some test figures from same. In the meantime you have to send on to us prints of your Front and Rear Axle Hub and Drum ends, so that we can go into the question of fitting up a complete set of GIRLING BRAKES to a Bentley chassis, and this we have agreed to do free of all charge to your goodselves.

So that the tests can de done as quickly as possible, you will also send us prints of Rear Axle so that we can have the parts machined and fit on to same in order that the chassis will not be in our Works longer than is necessary.

Kindly rest assured that you can rely on us giving you a first class job in every way.

With many thanks.

Yours faithfully,
for NEW HUDSON LTD.,

Alex Fraser

WORKS MANAGER.
