We thank you for your HS{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}14/LG151224., and HS{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}13/LG151224., together with a copy of C4/C131224. We have already replied to C4/C131224. in our DA{Bernard Day - Chassis Design}/EV{Ivan Evernden - coachwork} 1/M161224. a copy of which was sent to you.
We are strongly in favour of fitting up a 40/50 chassis with a wider and higher dashboard like 'W' series and raising the radiator by some known means. We feel it would not be an expensive or lengthy modification to the chassis and it would enable the coachbuilders to make and fit wings and valances and would enable us to take the complete car to the Enamelcar Co. to be painted, and all this could be going on whilst a 'W' series chassis is in preparation.
We would like your views on this subject as EV.{Ivan Evernden - coachwork} expects to be in London shortly and would like to fix up everything concerning this first underframe car.
