re Myth Coachwork.

This memo. is intended to put on record points of agreement reached during a discussion on the design of Myth coachwork held at the Clan. Exptl. on Oct. 1st. 1940 between Rm {William Robotham - Chief Engineer} /EAG. Ev. {Ivan Evernden - coachwork} and Ev {Ivan Evernden - coachwork} /JD. {J. Draper - Frames}

1. Frame Side Member.

It was agreed that we may move back the place at which the frame starts to narrow in plan to a point in the vicinity of the body bracket at the centre pillar.

2. Frame Cross.

The raised centre of the frame cross, because it comes under the raised portion of the front floor; does not embarrass the design of the coachwork.

3. Rear Seat Cushion Board.

The rear seat cushion board can be lifted at the rear in the vicinity of the squab to clear the axle, brake ropes and the shock damper links, particulars of the latter can be had from Rm {William Robotham - Chief Engineer} /GB.

Provision is to be made for a rear roll rod which will be set out by Rm {William Robotham - Chief Engineer} /GB.

4. Bentley.

We shall cater for a 12 Volt Lucas battery (minx Size) housed below the rear seat, as an alternative position to that on the dashboard. Access to the battery would be by a trap door under the rear seat. The battery will in no way contact with the body and no acid will reach it.

5. Side levers.

Ev. {Ivan Evernden - coachwork} will provide a scheme for side levers as soon as possible to enable Rm {William Robotham - Chief Engineer} /EAG. to deal with the floor design in the vicinity. The designs of the gate and floor were discussed and agreement reached.

6. Hand Brake Lever.

Ev. {Ivan Evernden - coachwork} will provide a scheme for the hand-brake alongside the
