ELECTRIC CLOCKS.

Further to BY/RD.1/B.27.10.38., Mr. Arrowsmith of the A.T. Speedometer Co.Ltd., has today shown us their proposals for building up the Impulse Clock in a pressed case made by Messrs. S. Smith & Sons (M.A.) Ltd.

This is entirely satisfactory and will enable them to go ahead on production without any tool charges to us, whatsoever.

Regarding the suggestion that they should give to us the fuse for fitting to cars already having the Empire Clock. This matter has again been reviewed, and since they are unable to manufacture the fuse unit as economically as anticipated, it is thought that it would be better to replace faulty Empire Clocks against customers' complaints, with the new Impulse type, and to this procedure we have tentatively agreed.
