To DA.{Bernard Day - Chassis Design} from E.{Mr Elliott - Chief Engineer} Copy to CL. [crossed out] RH.{R. Hollingworth} [crossed out] EFC. [crossed out] X.3576 ORIGINAL. RE 20 H.P. FAN AND FAN PULLEY D E9/GS/7/1/29 RECEIVED [stamp] 2 We send you herewith drawing No.Lec.1108 showing the above. You will notice that the fan bracket is formed into the extension of the wheelcase containing the vertical drive to the camshafts. This bracket goes on the existing wheelcase already sent. The drive tube and nut shewn on Lec.1108 may be subject to alteration when the details of the drive are fixed up. The fan is intended to run inside a cowling attached to the back of the radiator so as to operate over the whole of the matrix. It is intended that this cowling will contain shutters for temperature regulation. We are putting in hand a further design of fan to be made in sheet metal, which will be sent to you in due course. Would you kindly proceed with the detailing for Lec.1108 E.{Mr Elliott - Chief Engineer} | ||
