To R.{Sir Henry Royce} from Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} c. to BJ. Wor.{Arthur Wormald - General Works Manager} c. to RG.{Mr Rowledge} E.{Mr Elliott - Chief Engineer} c. to EY. X4003 Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}2/LG16.10.28. F.11. CAMSHAFTS. We attach herewith comparative power curve on F.11 engine with standard and long duration camshaft. The increase in power on the standard engine is not as much as we get on the S/C. engine but there is, as shewn, a slight gain. The Ministry have asked that the next type test shall be run with long duration camshafts so that they can be standardised for both S/C. and normal engines. Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} | ||
