[Handwritten: Cancel] To RHC.{R. H. Coverley - Production Engineer} from Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Rm.{William Robotham - Chief Engineer} Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Rm.{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}3/KT.7.10.33. ENGINE FOR THE "VULTURE". There are various designs going through for improving the Phantom engine, but it will be some time before they are completed, and you will certainly have the chassis ready for a long time first. We therefore think we can build up a unit which we can use for test containing the following modifications:- (1) 6/1 C.R. head for 14 mm. plugs previously instructed. (2) 8 litre cylinder bores. (3) Hoyt's white metal bearings. (4) Any magnesium castings we can obtain. Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Rm.{William Robotham - Chief Engineer} | ||
