Copy of letter received from:- Spicer Bros.Ltd., 19, New Bridge Street, London, E.C.4. Ref.-IM/FW. 17th Novr.,1921. Messrs.Rolls-Royce Ltd., Nightingale Road, Derby. ROY {Sir Henry Royce} /MS6/FJ161121 Dear Sirs, We are in receipt of your letter of the 16th inst., regarding Insulating Paper. We do not understand what you mean by Double Insulating Paper. We understand from your enquiry that the sample submitted was not thick enough and you require a double thickness for which we quoted. Do you now require Insulating Paper the thickness of your original sample but two layers placed together. If this is so, this is generally done by the user as it is an easy matter to take 2 sheets of the 1¼ mils and place them together and use them accordingly. If you can do this our original quotation will stand. We shall be glad to hear from you further on the subject. Yours truly, For SPICER BROTHERS LTD., (Sgd.) F.W. I.M. Dept.
