AMALGAMATION OF ALKLUM STORAGE BATTERIES LTD. OF HALIFAX, AND IONIC ALKALINE BATTERIES LTD., OF STRATFORD, E.15. We have pleasure in announcing that an amalgamation is taking place, as from the 1st January 1936, between Alklum Storage Batteries Ltd. of Halifax, Yorks, and Ionic Alkaline Batteries Ltd. of Stratford, London. The result of this amalgamation will be to strengthen the resources of both Companies, and to improve the service to their customers and the quality of their products. The combined undertaking will in future be known as Alklum Ionic Batteries Ltd., with Head Offices & Works at Halifax, and London Offices at Windsor House, 46, Victoria Street, London, S.W.1. The latter offices will be open from Monday, 9th December, 1935, after which date all communications should be addressed either to Halifax or to Victoria Street. Alklum Ionic Batteries Ltd. will have at their disposal all the patents, processes, trade marks and staffs of the two individual companies, and will offer a complete range of Alklum and Ionic batteries for all purposes, combining the good features of both.
