W/S. PN.{Mr Northey} from Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} X8770 Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}1/LG12.1.24. E.{Mr Elliott - Chief Engineer} A.{Mr Adams} C.11. CHASSIS. X8770 X9946 With reference to the car we are preparing for you to take away. I told you that there was a luggage grid fitted to this car. I find on returning that although the coachbuilders have fitted the luggage grid brackets, no grid is fitted. If you require the grid will you please arrange for Hoopers to supply one. They will most probably some ready to suit the brackets which they fitted. Since returning to Derby we have found the definite cause for the stiff steering on the car I had in London. We are confident that on your car it will be very very much better. Also the brakes are getting better and better every day. MADE AT CROXLEY Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} | ||
