Despatching parts to Jarvis, comparing the effectiveness of Barker and Hooper front wings.

With reference to the parts that you wish us to despatch to Jarvis. We are sending all the necessary instruments except the clock and speedometer which are not the standard size and which we shall therefore have to order specially.

We are sending the wing stays but not the tool box until after Amanullah's visit.

We find that the lip on the Barker front wing is very much more effective for keeping the mud from blowing round the edges than that on the Hooper car. There is no doubt that this lip is the main factor in keeping the body clean as the Hooper car has shewn us that the wings can be very ineffective unless this lip is properly made.

We think it advisable for you to get Jarvis to follow the Barker wings on 10-EX as closely as possible.
