C.60 Cold Start Tests. There is general agreement to the conclusions of the attached report. In our opinion the present standard C60 starter should not be expected to operate at a current exceeding 800 amperes. With undiluted oil down to -10°F and diluted oil below this temperature the present motor should be satisfactory down to -30°F.{Mr Friese} Should it be considered necessary to operate down to -30°F with undiluted oil a modified starter will be required. Suggestion is a Simms B5612 type starter (12V) fitted with a reduction | ||
