Body dimension comparisons - both open bodies.

4-GOSHAWK-11.

Width of front seat 42"
Wheel to cushion compressed 10" (with Lec.24" packing)
back squab 16"
Front seat too long fore and afte
outer corners should be rounded.
From floor to bottom of screen 30" -(about 1" too high also glass of screen should come down to top of scuttle.)
Screen - depth 10"
- width 46"
Width of back seats. 40"

This body is about the best for Goshawk chassis.

6-GOSHAWK-11

Width of front seat 45"
Wheel to cushion compressed 11" (too low)
back squab 16"
From floor to bottom of screen 29"
Screen - depth 11½"
- width (large windage) 47½"
Width of back seats 42"
No difference in accelerator pedals.

This body is quite as big as 6-EX (40/50) and clumsily large for 20 HP. chassis.

Radiator Fan. Size of fan to be increased - seems unnecessarily small - perhaps O.K. with cowling but dia. might be 3" longer.

Radiator Support. springs in radiator fixing choc-a-bloc - slight leak. If made to Lec.drawing from R.{Sir Henry Royce} this could not be.

Tyre pressures. 6-Goshawk-11 appears-slightly-too-stiff riding is not as good as 4-Goshawk-11.
Front 40 lbs. ( in 6-Goshawk-11
Back 40 and 45 lbs.( about correct.

Springs. Rear springs on 6-Goshawk-11 appear slightly too stiff. There is 1" more clearance between frame and axle than on 4-Goshawk-11 which has not bumped on the back even with 5 passengers. When at Laval Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} will make tests to increase friction to see if riding improved.
