To Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} from BJ. BJ2/H17.10.24. X9410 TESTING FRONT SPRINGS. We telegraphed you to-day as attached, as we are anxious to have the latest possible information on the subject. Doubtless it is understood by every person connected with these tests that it is costing the Company a very considerable sum of money every day until these tests are completed, and we have adopted a definite type of spring, as every day we are fitting springs to chassis which will probably eventually have to be altered at the coachbuilders or other places and will considerably delay deliveries to customers. We cannot deliver cars until we know what springs have been proved and that they are safe and satisfactory in all respects. Kindly keep us constantly informed of progress of this matter. B.J. | ||
