Comparative water temperature tests on a Wraith car 29.G.VI and car 28.G.VI.

We have just run comparative water temperature tests on Six Hills with 28.G.VI. and 29.G.VI. cars. The thermostats were removed from both cars, and the radiator shutters were held fully open. Air temperature 10°C. Both cars were run at high speed until the oil temperatures rose to 110°C. and the highest water temperatures reached in the top water pipes were, 29.G.VI. 80°C. and 28.G.VI 81°C.
