To BY.{R.W. Bailey - Chief Engineer} From Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Rn.{Mr Robinson} c. to Roy.{Sir Henry Royce} c. to Hd.{Mr Hayward/Mr Huddy} 81583 Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Rn.{Mr Robinson}4/MJ.4.11.30. With reference to BY4/G.{Mr Griffiths - Chief Accountant / Mr Gnapp} 21.10.30. We believe the position is this. Wakefield's produced a thin oil for the gearbox to suit our requirements and went into production with it, only to find that we turned it down as being no use for either gearbox or axle. We understand that they have now gone back to their original thick oil. If this is not so, we should like to know the position, and if a reasonable type of oil is available we will try it out on our gearbox. Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Rn.{Mr Robinson} | ||
