X.3507.a To Da.{Bernard Day - Chassis Design} from R.{Sir Henry Royce} Copy to CJ. " " Bn.{W.O. Bentley / Mr Barrington} " " Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} " " EFC. X.3507. RE LUGGAGE CARRIER. With reference to the bracket to fix the luggage carrier, I am pleased that the design we have between us arrived at promises well. I quite think we should get a few of the plates designed fitted to the chassis which are running about, as the coachbuilders' work in this direction is very poor indeed, and they are apt to cut and drill the frame in a dangerous manner, as well as add excessive weight to the car.
