-2- cause any misfires on acceleration. Lodge X.306 Plugs. These do not show any sign of preignition at high speeds. They do not misfire on acceleration. They do occasionally fire after being switched off at low speeds. These are still on test. Up to the present there is nothing to choose between these and the K.L.G.734 plugs. Re. Oil Temperature. We have not got any results from the following tests. (1) Slot in front underpan. (2) Underpan removed. (3) Front number plate fitted to top side of front member to give more access to air underneath. We are still having to reduce speed to keep the oil temperature down. RE. N.S. FRONT WING MOVEMENT. we have at last cured this trouble. The solution is the fitting of a third stay just behind the line of the dashboard. We have tried numerous other devices, but none of these gave satisfactory results. We must have the extra stay on the next car outhere to save the wings. G.W.H. G.W.Hancock. | ||
