Dear Hives,

Very pleased to hear that you and Mr. Rowledge intended coming here next week.

Mr. Hulle from Manchester and his daughter will be here almost the same time i.e., Tuesday.

I have been trying to buy a few bradawls for wood, but they don't seem to keep these - I got drills and gimblets, but no Bradawls, if convenient please bring 3 assorted, also a little clock oil (I think sperm is used). I also gave away my spoke shave and now find I want one to make handles for garden tools. Kindly bring one suitable.

I expect you will be running a 40/50 H.P. with many new parts. Our 20 H.P. goes excellently - power good - very silent and safe. One day we did over 60 m.p.h. and another over 70 which is quite a distance for me and in these parts - worth twice on good English main roads.

Mr. A.{Mr Adams} V.{VIENNA} Roe is here, but leaves on Sunday. There is some idea that they may consider 'Condor' type lll. for 'Snider'Cup but napier 'Lion' more likely. Mr. Rowledge should see them and explain improvement in weight and propeller pinion. I said we or Gov. would lend one.

Hoping to see you end of next week. Please hand this to Mr. Rowledge.
