For the attention of Mr. Martin Hurst.

Dear Sirs,

We are interested in finding a device which will cut off the ignition on a car when either the temperature in the water system attains a figure of approximately 110° - 120°C, or alternatively, when the pressure in the system reaches 10 - 15 lbs/sq.in. Could you please let us know whether you have designed or marketed any suitable device, or one capable of being adapted for these purposes, and let us have drawings or particulars of same.

We would be obliged if you could treat this matter as urgent.

Yours faithfully,

for ROLLS-ROYCE LTD.
