98-NK CAR.

[Handwritten above first paragraph] <strike>X9770</strike> <strike>X9680</strike> X9770

We anticipate that 98-NK car will have completed the tests in France in a week or 10 days time.

98-NK car has now completed approx. 30,000 miles so that it will undoubtedly need overhauling.

The bonnet and radiator are the old standard type. It will need the 1" higher radiator, bonnet and dashboard.

The chassis frame has been drilled for several types of wheel carrier, and it has been reported that the frame has started to crack where the wheels carriers have been fixed.

The pistons fitted to the car are special experimental ones, and will have to be changed.

We consider, to get 98-NK chassis fit for a Trials car, may take a considerable time. Experiments however might be tried by fitting 98-NK [handwritten insert: engine] into the Open Demonstration Ca,r
