BENTLEY III ALUMINIUM DRUMS.

We understand that the administration have given per-
mission to fit aluminium drums to the Continental Bentley to
save weight.

Our present iron drums are 12 1/4" internal dia. The
original aluminium drums were different widths front and rear
and are obsolete. We need a design for shoes and drum to
replace our latest designs and be interchangeable with them.

As regards the drum, all we need is an outline drawing
of it because High Duty Alloys are going to do the development
work, the proportions of liner and drum do not concern us.

We suppose we shall need different drums for the
fully floating and semi floating axles, as usual.
