Comparative Tests with Grille and Radiator Shutters.

Comparisons have been taken with 2-B-IV fitted with standard radiator and shutters, and B-23-AE fitted with thermostat to engine, and radiator grille, with the following results :-

Carburetter Intake Temp. oC. Engine Water Temp. oC. Air Temp.

B-23-AE Grille 32oC. 85oC. 16oC.
2-B-IV Shutters 48oC. 80oC. 16oC.
