ENGINE : 4-cylinder “L” head, 3¾” bore, 4½” stroke.

SUSPENSION : 4-point. Rubber mountings, minimizing vibration.
CRANKCASE and CYLINDER BLOCK : Cast integral.
CYLINDER HEAD : High turbulence type combustion chamber.
CRANKSHAFT : Three bearings, 2” diameter, drop forged heat treated alloy steel. Total bearing area, 44.4 sq. ins. Projected bearing area 14.13 sq. ins.
CONNECTING RODS : Drop forged alloy steel. Lower end bearing 2” diameter, 1½” long, cast into place.
PISTONS : Light weight cast iron. Three rings per piston.
CAMSHAFT : Drop forged alloy steel. Four bearings, 1¹/₈” diameter.
VALVES : Inlet 1½” and exhaust 1⅜” port diameter. Special hard alloy valve seat inserts.
TIMING DRIVE : Helical gears, ⅞” face.
LUBRICATION : Gear type oil pump provides pressure feed to all main and connecting rod bearings. Oil capacity—4 quarts.

COOLING : Four blade fan, 18” diameter, with automatic bearing lubrication. Shaft driven centrifugal water pump at side of cylinder block.
IGNITION : Delco-Remy 6-volt battery type with full automatic distributor and induction coil.
CARBURETTER : British made Zenith downdraft.
FUEL PUMP : A.C. Mechanical pump mounted on crankcase and driven by camshaft. Fuel filter unit with pump.
DYNAMO : Delco-Remy 6-volt for starting and lighting. Cooled by auxiliary fan.
STARTER MOTOR : Delco-Remy 6-volt with bendix drive.
RADIATOR : Pressed steel shell. Fin and flat tube type. Detachable core, protected by steel grill. Water capacity of cooling system 18 quarts.
FUEL SUPPLY : 15 gallon tank with baffle plates mounted in frame under driver’s seat. Pump feed.
EXHAUST SYSTEM : Large exhaust pipe carries fumes to welded steel exhaust proof silencer.
CLUTCH : Borg & Beck single dry plate type, 10” diameter, with vibration damper. Long life composition facing. Oil cup mounted on clutch housing lubricates clutch withdrawal bearing. Entire unit enclosed.
