the stroke can be shortened if you so desire it.

In practically all respects we have followed the design of the pump in current use, with the exception of the relieved portion in the bore, which is unnecessary for our installation; owing to the fact that no harm can be done to the gauge installation should the pump be pressed in, instead of allowing the spring to operate for pumping purposes.
