X.1681 To R.{Sir Henry Royce} from Hy.{Tom Haldenby - Plant Engineer} c. to CJ. Hy{Tom Haldenby - Plant Engineer} 6/DB{Donald Bastow - Suspensions}10.12.20. X.1581 Re Insulation Testing Apparatus. -------------------------- X.1109 Mr. Clark has requested that we purchase two small transformers for insulation testing. The transformers would step up to a maximum secondary voltage of 20,000, and he states that it is your wish that some such apparatus be obtained. As we are doing all we can to curtail expenditure, I shall be glad if you will kindly let me know whether we should purchase the two transformers. They will cost, complete with the oil, £41 each, and as Mr. Clark says he requires one for his own use and one for production department the total expenditure will be £82. If you think we should obtain such apparatus, perhaps you would say whether we can manage with one set only. Hy.{Tom Haldenby - Plant Engineer} | ||
