We attach herewith copy of memo received from Mr.Oldham, dated August 7th, with reference to a heater to be fitted to warm passengers on the rear seats. At a conference held at West WitteringHenry Royce's home town on January 30th, it was arranged that Mr.Olley should make enquiries as to what footwarmers were obtainable in America, and get particulars of their design, and for Mr.Hives to experiment with exhaust gas and water heated foot-warmers. Could you please inform us the results of this experiment and investigation.
