Dear Mr. Turner,

Many thanks for your letter of August 2nd. I saw Mr. Fisher yesterday, and we agreed that perhaps the most useful thing to do now would be for you to supply us with a 30 m {Mr Moon / Mr Moore} /m carburetter opened out to the absolute limit with regard to size. We will then try this out on the Phantom III and see if there is any possibility of using it on this particular car.

We suggest that it would be useful to carry out this test before you come to Derby.

Yours sincerely,
