Mr. Barrington. RE BONNET CLIPS. *386 X1140 25.9.12. Further to my report on above, reference EP{G. Eric Platford - Chief Quality Engineer}6/T20612. Hives report:- "The weaker bonnet tongues (3 on each side) are satisfactory & should be adopted as standard in conjunction with brass plates on bonnet strips." As regards bonnet strips nothing further has been done on this matter since my last report. Mr. Elliot however has promised to send something further through as Mr. Royce does not like the brass strips. This job should be pushed on as the bonnets now wear badly.
