Unsatisfactory Watford 12-volt booster coil, type NIKA, supplied by Messrs. Rotax Ltd.

We are sending into the Stores a Watford 12 volt booster coil type NIKA which was recently supplied to us by Messrs. Rotax Ltd. This coil has been tested and found to be unsatisfactory as it fails to operate at its rated current input, i.e. 1.7 to 2.2 amps. The current at which the coil will immediately operate when switched on is .7 amps. and it is not absolutely reliable even at this value. Will you please arrange to have this coil returned to Messrs.
