CHASSIS - EXHAUST SYSTEM. Mr. Hancock reports that on 23-EX. the nickel silver lagging on the vertical pipe continually slipped down in spite of the fact that they lifted it on three or four occasions and re-tightened the clips. In order to make certain whether this slipping of the nickel silver was due to :- a/- The asbestos packing not being so tight. b/- The nickel silver itself being too soft. we would like to fit the L.H. Phantom 11 which goes to France with nickel silver lagging sheets. BY.{R.W. Bailey - Chief Engineer} | ||
