If the engine testing dept. has the best equipment in working order at the present time I agree that it would be better to transfer the test to Mr Platford, but if not I think the experimental dept. should do it. What we want to find out is,- (1) Whether we can obtain the same power from the spirit as from the spirit we are now using. (2) Whether we can obtain the same horse power hours from it.
