WE note your remarks re the above question, but would like to know your opinion regarding the efficacy of the multi-ringed piston in holding back oil relatively to the piston with the smaller number of rings. X.601. If you try with Lodge plugs in each case, and cut out other factors, it would appear possible to obtain a comparison of the two types. We are interested in the multi-ringed piston not only with relation to existing types of engine, but also for use on the inverted engine.
