666 To HPS.{Horace Percy Smith - Experimental Factory Mgr} To HPS{Horace Percy Smith - Experimental Factory Mgr}/RH.{R. Hollingworth} Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}/Ed.{J. L. Edwards}15/JH.12.6.39. 30.G.VII. We do not think that the pulleys on the above car are satisfactory, and we should like to send it to France with a set of pulleys as instructed in By/CS.2/EH.6.6.39. using 1/C. as material. The water pump should be inspected before sending out, and if necessary a new Skefco race fitted. The fan should be handed to Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}/ABR.{A. B. Roberts} who will set this to our latest requirements, when it should be refitted to the car. The balance should also be checked. In the event of parts not being completed in time to go with the car, they should be finished off at the earliest possible date, when they can be sent to France for fitting. Three sets of pulleys should be completed. Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}/Ed.{J. L. Edwards} | ||
