Dear Sirs,

VALVES & JUNCTION BODIES.

We are in receipt of yours of the 30th, and this appears to be similar to the matter which was discussed with our Mr. Douglas on June 25th last. We cannot quite see how the last thread of the meter valve should be stripped off if reasonable tightening is made of the meter valve, such tightening being ample to make a satisfactory joint. We have a large number of these Junctions and Valves in use, and have never found this trouble, particularly as there is a filter at the inlet end of the meter valve which would adequately deal with any small pieces of brass which might be dislodged.

We regret that we are unable to send a representative to Derby this week, but should you consider the matter is one which would be fruitfully discussed at your Works, we should be pleased to arrange for somebody to call after the August holidays.

Yours faithfully,
FOR LUVAX LIMITED.

H.W. Pitt
