R.R. 238 (24 B) (LL. 255. 10.6.12) E.P. 1997. ROLLS-ROYCE LIMITED. INSTRUCTIONS. To: Mr Barrington Order No. Customer's No. X20 11-11-12 .19 Re Plain Tyres on Exp Cars. We find that it is not safe to run on the roads in Derbyshire without a non-skid of some sort. The chief danger is descending a hill with a limestone road when it is greasy & without a non-skid of some sort it is impossible to have any control over the car. We are adopting the method of carrying a non-skid tyre as spare & changing the plain tyre when the roads are greasy. The London trials Dept could say whether they think it is a wise plan to run on smooth tyres Signed This Sheet must be filed on completion of the work. | ||
