Ref. 111(viii) X740 Copy of minute 8 of the 111th meeting of the T.C. Mr Swetnam. 19/1/12. TBB7/119112. Re Oil Pipe for Sluggard. Mr Swetnam submitted a scheme for fitting an auxiliary oil pipe to feed oil to the intermediate bearings on the sluggard. The Committee discussed this scheme at some length and ultimately agreed that it would be preferable to fit the oil pipe in the upper half of the crank-chamber, in order to over-come the difficulty that would be experienced with the scheme submitted when dismantling the lower half. Mr Swetnam promised to go into this matter. The Committee further agreed that this drawing should be submitted to Mr Nadin, and if he was of the opinion that same was satisfactory. | ||
