Some time ago, probably some two or three years, I believe, we were approached by the Castrol-people who asked us to use Castrol and to recommend our customers to use it in our chassis. For some reason or other we decided that we were unable to do so. I should be glad if you could let me have the reasons why we turned it down, as we have again been approached by Sir Charles Wakefield's people on the matter. I was informed by his representative also that we had used, or were using Castrol in our trials cars in the South of France, and that we had purchased several barrels of it. Is anything known of this at W? BJ/Py | ||
