W/S Y3730 C. from Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}3/LG29.6.22. Referring to your C1/C27.6.22. As you are aware, we have recently had Mr. Beaton at Derby and he has agreed to supply us with a set of new fittings free of charge. We think therefore, we should carry on with the Gwynne Body because if the body can be made mechanically sound, it is a very excellent scheme. We should like to arrange, when the [handwritten: also] Hooper body is ready, to lend you a chassis to try this body on. We are not anxious to have it fitted to one of the experimental cars because we already have sufficient bodies. We would recommend that this new open touring body is kept for one of your Open Trials Cars. Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} attc. C1/C27.6.22. | ||
