Dear Sirs,

We are in receipt of your letter of the 19th inst. reference as above, regarding service order Rm.{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}467 and have now been able to go carefully into this matter.

We can see no objection to making this modification and on those carburetters where we have carried out the work ourselves our usual guarantee conditions will remain. For those carburetters which have already been delivered, we shall have to make a charge for the modification if we carry it out ourselves either on Cars sent to our Service Station or on any carburetters returned by your goodselves.

We have no objection to this scheme later on as standard practice and we can incorporate the modification in the carburetters with special levers.

We have not yet started making these special carburetters as we are waiting your final instructions.

P.T.O.
