W.M. FHR2/111112 [STAMP] RECEIVED NOV 1912 [Handwritten on stamp] Top Work GRAND HOTEL DU CANADEL, Par le Lavandou, (VAR), 11th Nov. 1912. Mr Johnson from F.H.R. for T.C. With reference to Dunlop Detahcable Wire Wheels, I think the cone on which the wheel is pressed is of too quick a taper, and this is one of the causes of the wheels working loose. I suggest that with the tools sent out for these wire wheels a good wood mallet should be included to suggest greater tightness. [Handwritten with sketch] serrated drive bad [Handwritten with sketch] better try how slow this cone can be not how quick. I have never seen the sectional drawings of these and the hubs which carry them and which includes our rear brake drum. F.H.R. X15 | ||
