Clutch for 10,000 Miles Bentley.

You will remember that we wished to get N.Sch.3948 clutch fitted to B-7 unit for a 10,000 miles test, but it appeared that this would not be possible and we therefore asked you to fit the fabric on the driven member of the standard clutch.

Now that this car has got to wait for the new axle forging we hope that the parts for this new clutch may be available before it starts. If they are will you please machine one set to reduce the inertia, as shown on Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}1416, we will then fit them to the car.

As we have not yet settled the correct settings for the central plate and back plate, we will specify these when the rest of the clutch is ready.
