(24) Clutch Pedal Shaft.
It is recommended that we go ahead with the spherical mounting for the clutch pedal shaft on the clutch pit. This is fitted to the 10,000 mile car.
(25) Propeller shaft universal joints.
It is desired to incorporate, as soon as it can be released, the modification changing the present joint to needle bearings, to N. Sch. 3827. This is fitted to GMH's 10,000 mile car but it is recommended in the meantime that Sft.{Mr Swift} should go ahead with 25 cars with the old joints and these can be transferred to A/25 production any time required. It is hoped that the decision will be made in a month's time to use the needle bearing to N. Sch. 3827 and this involves but slight modifications to existing parts.
(26) Modified Water Pipe to Carburetter Jackets.
It is recommended that these pipes should follow the lines of the pipe that is fitted to the 10,000 mile car to avoid cracking in the horizontal portion, to LeC.3654.
